16-19 Tuition Fund Statement

Cardinal Newman Catholic School have used the 16-19 tuition fund to prioritise support for our disadvantaged students for the academic year 2020-21. The nature of the support that has been provided using this fund is outlined below: 

• Laptops/ devices provided to allow for participation in online and distance learning during school closure 
• Additional tuition in vocational courses provided to support learning where exams went ahead in January
• Stationery and equipment provided to support students in their Maths and English lessons in school and remotely
• In school and remote pastoral mentoring provided throughout academic year for vulnerable students
• Revision guides and textbooks provided to supplement revision and support online learning
